Plus there's Elijah Burke, Stevie Richards, Kevin Thorn, Balls Mahoney, BDV and Tommy FN Dreamer who could all handle themselves in a hardcore match. Heck John Morrison probably wouldn't do too badly either.

Indeed it was, Matt you slipped up this time, CM Punk and the rest of them are great but not at the "ECW level"..just the WWE level.

yes you name good wrestlers asnd yes i agree that they can handle themselves in hardcore competiton, but wat i mean is, this is wwecw, not ecw, so i dont want the half assed violence of wwe i wud rather have the full on experience of ecw thereforei wud not like to see the hardcore title return unless they get some of the hardcore greats backMattHughesV2

First of all WWE can put on good hardcore matches (if you want a recent one then just go with New Breed vs. ECW Originals from after WM. That was an awesome match from everyone involved).

Secondly, while I know you want the ECW violence with the huge bumps, falling off of scaffolds and other high places,going through flaming tables every other week, the fact of the matter is that WWE just can't do that and really no major company should be doing that. For two reasons:
1. Injuries which is why they don't do that stuff often and also why ECW isn't every match hardcore rules.
2. It gets old.

I wouldn't want to see the level of violence you want on a regular basis simply because I would be worried about the wrestlers getting injured and also if you see it enough times it will get old. Now if WWE can put on decent hardcore matches with great ones with big spots for the bigger and more important matches then that seems perfectly fine to me. WWE can put on very good hardcore matches they just know not to do it too often. And once again if they did bring back the Hardcore Title they would have no problem at all with finding contenders for it.

Imiss the old ECW Days, the hardcoreness,the violence thats why I bought the Rise and Fall of ECW DVD and quit watching ECW on TV unless there is a good match like Tommy Dreamer vs CM Punk in an Extreme Rules match for the ECW World Championship.evananderson25
