Jim Ross Responds To Reports That He Might Jump To TNA

Jim Ross was asked on his website about the reports that he might consider going to TNA. Ross responded by saying this:

"It's just more gossip. I am of the mindset that I will end my career in WWE."

PWInsider reports that people in both WWE and TNA believe that Ross going to TNA is possible if WWE plays hardball with him at any point.

No, he left on his own terms. WWE was actually trying to get him to resign and stay but he left them. If WWE got tired of him he they wouldn't pursue him.

• Moving JR to SmackDown when Vince knew the guy did not want to leave Raw

... Vince has all but practically made a career of embarrassing JR. Even on that last one, you do not have to read any dirt sheet. In his official blog, JR had mentioned before the 2008 draft took place that he was afraid of being moved away from Raw, and even afterwards, openly talked about the possibility of quitting. Hell, just re-watch that show. It is super obvious JR is visibly upset.

I would have left before kissing Vince's old mass on live T.V.. It's people like J.R. that are meant to be used like the tools that they are. He is weak, spineless, and quite honestly, not cut out to make to Vince's level. That's why people like McMahon rake in the dough, because the brainless masses that they employ stick around to be degrated and played like toys.

J.R. maybe humliated some times but he gets his moments beating the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. Getting to announcer for them since maybe 1995. Having Beer bashes with Stone Cold. Getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. And he has gotten the biggest announcer role of the whole WWE IMO.
