Major Update: Undertaker suffers major injury!

What was originally planned to be a long-term title reign for The Undertaker could come to a quick halt, reports The Wrestling Observer.

The wrestler suffered a biceps tear prior to Sunday's Backlash PPV; following the match, he was in "tremendous pain."

The muscle is noticeably rolled up, which implies a complete tear off the bone and a six-to-eight month recovery period.

Undertaker committed to working a more regular WWE schedule for the purpose of long-term title reign, but if the injury is as serious as most believe, he'll be forced to drop the belt soon.

He was to be evaluated by Dr. James Andrews Tuesday afternoon. After determining if Undertaker will be required to drop the belt, WWE will then have to decide whether or not it can safely be done via a match.

The World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker is suffering from a torn bicep tendon and will be having the injury evaluated today before the Smackdown! tapings in Birmingham, AL., under the hands of Dr James Andrews. Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that there's a big possibility that 'Taker will be out for a long period of time and his reign as World champion will be cut short. If he can wrestle another match for the title and drop it there that will be the way to go however it all depends on the results by Dr. Andrews. Meltzer says that the general belief is that he suffered a complete muscle tear off the bone which can take up eight long months to recover from.

The Undertaker will be undergoing surgery to repair his torn bicep soon and will then be out for 6-8 months.

Which would suck, because Batista is the only one on Smackdown that would get Takers title

hopefully after Batista plans on winning it back, someone else better will win it from Batista, its not gonna be Mr. Kenndy cause he plans on using his briefcase at WM24 (thats a long time from now)
