the bigger question is not if you think wrestling will be around it 10 years
but will tna be around
and if so will it be bigger than wwe

Yes, TNA will be bigger than WWE, and one of the contributing factors may be the TNA game. People who do not know of TNA, but know WWE will approach the game. They may enjoy it, and as a result, they may start watchin TNA.

true but tna is all about story lines now
*sigh* i remember when tna was for wrestling
it gets more like wwe every week now
How about the Ric flair retirement, what did ya think?The_Last_Ride
I will always remember that. That will stay with me forever especially seeing it in my home town.
About the scared thing. I was definitely scared of Undertaker as a kid and I'd always run to my dad who I watched it with.

It's really hard to predict how things are going to be in 10 years. 10 years ago it was the Attitude Era and the Monday Night Wars between WWF and WCW with ECW also popular as well. Who knows what it will be like in 10 years. WWE will probably still be around, but TNA? Hard to say it's just as likely that they'll be out of business as it is that they'll be bigger than WWE. Will ROH be popular? Maybe have a TV deal and become a top company? Maybe a new wrestling company will have started to challenge WWE. It's really hard to predict so far into the future when wrestling is such an unpredictable business.
Shawn was the perfect one to do it. It was pretty awesome to end his career of with a bang.android1000
Yeah and also, the end of the match was brilliant. Shawn was tuning up the band(albeit halfheartedly), and Ric got up and raised his fists, and then boom! Michaels hit the SCM, he got the pin, and Flair was gone. But I loved the segment on Raw the next day.
how many of these threads do we need to have of these?killerband55
what does it matter as long as we are here discussing
as des pointed out this union is becomeing dull

Actually Ric was showing with his hands that Shawn should bring it. The part where Shawn said "I'm sorry, I love you" was heartfelt an great way to end the match.

But everything becomes dull after a while. Friends and Frasier are good examples of great things that became dull.

yes and that was my point we need new random topics like this to keep things fresh
Yeah exactly, Killer these make the union more active, it should be what you want, so we can rise in percentage.Despirano
well seeing the fact that there's still that union glitch that has been going on for who knows how long, percentage wont go up anytime soon
woop woopnewtruegunner

So what other wrestling things can we talk about?b3yondstupidity
Anyone planning to attend a live event any time soon? When Raw comes live to Toronto Canada, I've got my ticket to see it live, which is cool, it'll be the first time I've been to a tv taping. I've only ever been to a house-show

i've only been to live TV tapings, but i heard house shows are never like the live tv tapings
Proberly like.. NEVER lol. What is a tv taping I've never understanded it.b3yondstupidity
Here's the simple breakdown:
TV Tapings are pretty much self explanitory, just as the name says, what you see on TV Mondays and Fridays and Tuesdays are television tapings with pyro, announcers, the whole bit
House-shows are non-televised events held at smaller venues or over seas, usually to promote the upcoming PPVs or TV Tapings, they don't have the pomp of TV Tapings, and usually only a third of the roster comes, usually mid-carders and occasionally the main-eventers. You'll likely never see Taker or Shawn Micheals or even Triple H at these.
Yeh house shows are actually awesome when i went, i mean like its so different from tv, and theres always a title match that never changes hands.Despirano
Actually there are sometimes instances of title changes, but they're usually quickly changed before the next television taping. My friend, who's like a house-show veteren, told me of times he saw title changes, but the decision was changed before the next television taping. I'm not sure Des, if you remember a show called WWF Superstars from the 80's, but there was one time that the Tag titles changed hands at a house show, but the next time that Superstars aired, the original champs were still the champs, and no mention was made of the title change. It's weird, but now I think WWE is tending to lean away from that, and if there is a title change made at a live non-televised event, it's mentioned, like the time Kendrik and London won the Tag titles from Cade and Murdoch, during an overseas tour, and it was mentioned on Raw
I doubt I will ever see a WWE event EVER.b3yondstupidity
I thought the same thing once, and soon, I'll be able to say I've been to two, so never say never, unless you're a cheap b*stard that won't put up the money for a ticket, then you can say that! LOL! :P

dont say that, WWE pretty much goes everywhere, so i'm sure there's a place WWE will go that nearest to u

:P They come quite near to me half teh time. But I aren't the one whose cheap, I'd get the money but my parents are cheap. When I mean CHEAP I mean CHEAP. So yeah WWE has came around me a few times. I was about to by some SD tickets heh then my parents were cheap and said no. How much are tickets?
