The Derry Journal has an article about an incident last weekend at a hotel in Northern Ireland involving Mark Henry where a local claims he was verbally abused by Henry, who also threw a drink at him. He was trying to gather autographs from various wrestlers for a birthday card for his son. The paper claims that Henry was arrested and given an "adult caution". Click here to check it out.
This is probably another example of Matt Hardy working his fans, but after getting tweets about people disgusted by what Drew McIntyre did to him on Smackdown, Hardy tweeted "I hate him, I really do." then added "The reason I hate Drew is cuz he's been given everything without workin' for it.. While I've busted my ass for EVERYTHING I've ever earned! And to earn everything I that I've have, I've sacrificed & destroyed my body.. That's why I actually respect Edge-cuz he's done the same."
On his twitter, Vance Archer posted a picture of him growing a beard. I guess he is preparing to get whatever push Mike Knox had. Click here to check it out.

Thanks for making one topic for all the news Last Ride. But Matt tries to mess with the fans so i'm no longer going to pay attention to his tweets anymoreJandSman
no problemo
The word making the rounds in Baltimore, where the WWE crew has already arrived for tomorrow's Extreme Rules PPV, is that Batista is finishing up with the company this week. He's challenging John Cena in a Last Man Standing bout on the PPV. Batista has made noises about leaving dating back to this January, so we'll see whether this is really it or not for him soon enough.
I reported the following on 4/20 in the PWInsider.com Elite section:
"Batista's contract has either expired or will be expiring later this summer, depending on who the source is. I can't see the company pushing him so hard if his deal had expired, so I believe it's the latter. I was told Batista was informed he might not be starring in Killing Karma right around Wrestlemania weekend but the official decision wasn't made until about 7-10 days before the never-ending European trip. One of the reasons for the change is that WWE didn't want to release a film with him down the line if he wasn't under their employ."

I don't see Warrior accepting an induction anytime in the future unless WWE throws a huge money offer at him.
WWE has been inducting wrestlers that never wrestle for WWE so assume we may see Lou Thesz, The Crusher and Wahoo McDaniel in the Hall of Fame. Â
I certainly hope so. There are a lot of performers who certainly deserve the honor - The three you mentioned, among them. Â
I have heard the WWE be referred to many times as "the show" or the "big leagues" when it comes to wrestlers signing contracts. My question is what is TNA referred to as? Â
TNA. Â
What do other wrestler's think about John Cena? Those in the back and those within the industry? Â
John Cena is seen as one of the boys and someone who works really hard. There's very rarely anything negative said about him, since it's not a case where he's pushed above those who deserve it more. He's seen as someone who earned his place and does everything he can now that he's in the position. Â
Do you think Matt Hardy deserves better? If you think about it he has gone a lot of crap in WWE like being a jobber and the whole Edge and Lita thing and getting fired for no reason, and having to take a backseat so WWE can make brother champion I think its bout time Matt becomes a World Champion. What are your thoughts? Â
I've always enjoyed Hardy's work but of late, there seems to be a lack of passion to his in-ring work. If he's nursing injuries, its excusable but to say he deserves a World title because his brother was given one and because he's had some bad breaks is pretty silly. I'd love to see Hardy get to the point where he would be a worthwhile World champ, because he's put in the time and there are fans who love him, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.Journalists from pwi i think it was.

Jim Ross has posted his latest blog entry, which you can check out by clicking here. Some highlights from this entry:
- Too bad to hear about Joanie 'Chyna' Lauer having some apparent legal problems in southern California. I don't know the complete story regarding this matter but if, for some reason, Joanie needs help with any on going issues I would suggest that she reach out to WWE and ask for assistance. WWE helping their alumni is a wonderful thing and providing this care isn't a inexpensive gesture.Â
- Spoke with Gerald Brisco recently and he is really excited about his next round of recruits that will hopefully be provided opportunities to try out in FCW in Tampa soon. These 8 or so athletes are all accomplished amateur wrestlers who have distinguished accomplishments and hopefully will be able to transfer their amateur skills to the show biz side of sports entertainment.Â
- Today's Pet Peeve....Villain wrestler wins a match via hook or crook, and then gets his ass handed to him by the guy who the bad guy just defeated. It's akin to a tie in an athletic event and reeks of the 'kissing one's sister' analogy. Same theory is applicable if the hero wins and hangs around to get his ass kicked by the villain who just lost. What was actually accomplished? That one's easy to answer....usually nothing.Â
- Can someone with above average intelligence explain to me why two out of three fall matches won't work on TV any longer? Is it the old, worn out adage that it "uses up the talent?" If the talent in question has a viable story to tell and the ability to tell the story, all they are doing is better establishing themselves and their issue to the viewer/consumer. I am not advocating that this be a weekly feature but occasionally it would work. Another idea is having a best of 5 series that would be held over, potentially, a 5 week period with the winner of the series actually winning something tangible. That sounds like episodic TV to me.Â
- 2nd Pet Peeve of the day....active performers who occupy significant TV time that are in a major decision making capacity inside a wrestling company. I question those individual's objectivity and I feel that it's unsettling to the majority of the performers who are sitting in a locker room wondering when their number is going to be called. This was really prevalent in the territory days where many territory owners were also the area's top star and obviously the decision maker on all things of importance.
- I've had a couple of conversations with WWE officials this week about a potential new assignment within the company. Nothing has been finalized as of yet and my existing talent agreement will end Friday without fanfare. I will continue to handle some administrative matters until an agreement is or isn't reached.  Â
As always, Jim Ross covers other topics in his blog, which you can check out by clicking here.

why do they even have title matches at house shows? only on a blue moon do they change hands (like the cruiserweight title in Italy)killerband55that is not true the World Tag Team Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship, U.S./IC, changes hands at house shows sometimes
Knoxville.com has an article up to promote tonight's WWE show at the Civic Coliseum, and features several comments from Kane, who lives in the area. He discusses the hassles of the recent European tour and also says the following about WWE's new PG direction:
"I think it is good. When you watch a lot of TV, you see there is a lot of graphic stuff. You don't want your kids watching (violence) like 'The Sopranos.' Some of the hardcore fans may be disappointed, but I think it's great we're getting more families to come out."

If I can find myself a way to take part in an hour drive to Omaha, I will be at this Supershow. I NEED a SES T-Shirt... I'm going to find a way up there... This I hope will happen, because I already plan on going to the TNA House Show here in Lincoln on the 3rd of June.

TNA show, booo! WWE show YAY!!!
IMHO, I would just take the idea from the evil union, and just turn this into a Random Wrestling Posts thread. You could still include news that is not necessarily important enough for its own thread, along with being able to talk about other things that do not necessarily deserve a thread of their own.
Just a thought.
Mediotempo have an interview with Vickie Guerrero, in Spanish, where she puts over Dos Caras Jr, saying that he will have a promising future in WWE. Click here to check it out.
Slam Wrestling have an interview with Terry Funk talking about how he doesn't want to die in the ring. He also talks about the injuries he's had and how he and other guys like Dynamite Kid, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels wrestled for the "love of the game", while Hulk Hogan was in it just for the money. He also talks about the I Quit match with Ric Flair where he says he didn't know, until that night, that the person who said 'I quit' would have to retire. He said he would like to get in the ring with Flair again, in wrestling or MMA. He also talked about how the WWE Hall of Fame isn't a true Hall of Fame. He said he would like to be remembered as someone who got fans their money's worth when he wrestled. Click here to check it out.

Jim Ross has posted his latest blog entry, which you can check out at this link. JR gives his thoughts on last night's UFC, and also addresses fan response to his decision to continue working for WWE. Some wrestling-related highlights from the blog:
BTW emailers are still sending me 'attitudinal' missives regarding my decision to stay with WWE, of which I am very comfortable, for the record, and not to go to work elsewhere. Some are on the feedback section that many send in after a blog is posted while others can be found in the Q&A section. Others that went low road have been deleted. I have no issue with any one expressing their opinion but the profanity isn't necessary.Â
I wonder how many people that feel compelled to vent at least place an order occasionally? That would seem fair, right?
I wonder how many people that vent and cut promos actually know any of the details of various conversations and meetings that I have been involved in regarding this matter over the past several weeks? I can answer that one, none of them.
Saturday I read over 240 pages of "Queen of the Ring" which is the story of Mildred Burke and the unbelievable world of old school, women's wrestling. I am loving this book and I will say without hesitation it is one of the better books I've read in years. This one would make a great movie as the characters are so colorful and the story has so many provocative and controversial layers as it's a real page turner. I'll finish it today.Â
Planning on going to WWE's next PPV to help out behind the scenes and that will likely become a monthly road trip. Once a month sure as hell beats 51 weeks a year.Â
The full blog, which contains items not reprinted here, can be found at this link.
Update on dvd's from pwi
The WWE Elimination Chamber Anthology will be titled Iron Will: The Anthology of WWE's Toughest Match for the European market.
The Ricky Steamboat DVD set will feature graphic sidebars on older footage so it better fits on HD Televisions.  Ricky and Richie Steamboat will be doing a signing at this Friday's FCW event in Plant City, FL.
One of the reasons Steamboat has been around FCW so often is the company is mulling transferring him from a Producer to a trainer and he's been in FCW working in that position. At the same time, Billy Kidman is going on the road to work as a Producer.
Advertised for the forthcoming WWE Australia tour for July and August is World champion Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger and Big Show vs. CM Punk listed.Â

You also missed CENA trying to be funny and epicly failing.

i don't remember that he has always been funny and for future reference his name is spelled Cena not Cean.
Content?
And I'm guessing that you meant to say that Ce-nerd is funny. I really can't tell due to your lack of use of periods and commas. Apparently I can't misspell something but you have the right to trample on grammar. (Getting back on topic) If you think that Cena is funny, then you are either in kindergarden or have never heard an actual joke.
