the first time i went on the xbox was in gamestation onhalo, i was blown away and new i had to have one, but my mum didnt thin 500 quid for a games console was right! 1 year later and i got 1 for xmas, my best xmas ever!! :)
first time i played xbox was at wal-mart i got one finnaly like two years ago. But im not gonna sell it just yet there is still plenty of games that are sweet that dont require a 360
I played Halo, and thought it was okay. The controllers were horrid, years later they released the much better Dual SHOCK Inspired TYPE S controllers, but my first experience was in 2001 before they had good controllers.
Halo at a friends house. Was blown away by the graphics and had fun on the co-op campaign. Prior to that, the only FPS I liked were Goldeneye and Red Faction. Have barely touched my PS2 ever since.
Back in my sophmore year I think... 2002 my friend invited me to somthing called a lan party. Didn't have anything going on, si I went. So yeah, eveyone had a bunch of X-boxes linked together. First time I had ever played with an X-box. First time I have ever gone to a lan party(didn't do many after that though). So yeah, they also introduced me Halo as well. First time I ever played a first person shooter.
So yeah, I got owned to say the least. I hardly had any idea what I was doing. I t was pretty hard getting used to the controls. And that was back when they had the bulky X-box controller to. I think I only got one kill that night. And I vowed to get revenge... But I never did.
One year later I picked up a copy of Halo for the PC and fell in love with the game. Then in 2005.... I FINALLY got an X-box. Fastforward two year(now) I traded it in and now I have a sparkly new 360.
I'm thinking my first Xbox game was Halo, but I'm not positive. I do remember going to a friend's house for a LAN party and getting the snot beat out of me. I had a lot more fun when we did a complete round of capture the flag.
First time I played it was when i brought it ... rang up my friend who picked me up went to his house plugged it in ... I had Halo and PGR ... now we loved MSR on the DC and to see what had bcome of it in the form of PGR just blew us away ... we them played Halo ... that was enough for my mate who then promtly got up and stated he was going to get one .... later that day lots of mates round playing Halo LAN ... good times ... oh and I really liked the chunky controllers LOL
i remeber that special moment on my birthday.. when i opened it up and played it and the first game i played on it was halo combat evovled.. and it has been my favourite game ever since
First time playing xbox was 2 years ago, went over my cousins house he had one. I was amazed on how big the system was. I played him on Halo 2, beaver creek. I beat him down. . some how.
The first time i played on a xbox was 3 years ago, when Halo 2 came out. I played on my brothers xbox, then it broke. But we both got a new one that christmas. I still do play on it, eventhough i have a 360.
I think it was during Christmas break in 2003. I had to leave my PC at the dorms, so my brother let me borrow his xbox so I'd have something to play over the break. First game was Halo. He also let me borrow Robotech Battlecry and one of the Sega GT games, which didn't get nearly as much play.
Played Halo at a friends house.. Got killed so many time but had a blast playing it... I remember getting the warthog all the time and just ripping around it it. Now I can own all my friends at Halo.
I remember the first time I've played an Xbox was at Target sometime in late 2001 and I played that Oddworld game. It's amazine how I look back at this game a realize how much it sucked.
Ihave only played on an X-Box 360. I played Sonic the Hedgehog. I accualy loved it. I really want the game for christmas, But first I need an X-Box360! LOL. *This may be toatly off of what you guys are talking about! But my bro. found a Wii at a store.*
I played a Halo demo when I was like eleven. I hated it because the controller was still huge, and you had to use two control sticks to aim and run. It confused the hell out of me. :P
november 12, 2004,my first experience with the xbox after buying it that day.first game i played was tenchu:return from darkness.the best day of my life.i've decided not to buy any other console after that.because i'm not like microsoft who would abandon theirmost valued possesion'cause of nvidia stopped producing the graphics cardfor it.if i was to buy some/anything after it, i wouldgo for the psp.'cause its more amazing than the ps3 and almost as good as the x360!!!
a year or so after x-box comes out...my mum buys me fifa 05 which i wanted...then i look at the boxfor it...and it says x-box at the top instead of ps2...i'm like "you got the wrong format!!??" then she brings out an x-box...i had never played it before and wasn't intending on getting one but my mum got one and i played it from then on

a friend bought it at launch and a few of us all went over and played it...HALO!!!! my jaw hit the floor and stayed there while we all played it all weekend....it is still my favorite game of all time
Played Halo at my uncles house. I actually liked the big controller I alway's thought the playstation controllers were two small compared to the Genesis and N64. I'm still anoyed that I cant find any big xbox controllers, I hate the S model.
i was never into games, i always have had a super nintendo my mom had from when she was in highschool, i played the ps2, then in the winter of 2003 i went to my friends house who was telling me of this mystical "xbox". I got there and i thought it was the coolest freaking thing i had ever seen, first time i had seen some other game console other than super nintendo and ps2, he also had halo. I almost died. The game was beautiful. We played co-op for like 2 hrs, then his bro wanted to play so we played free for all multiplayer for like... 3-4 hrs. Finally 2005 i got one for x-mas. YEA! so yes until 2003 i had no idea about the gaming world. the first games i got, had no clue if they were good or not, were... golden eye, lord of the rings two towers, madden 05 (of course), hotwheels(lol!), ford racing, basket ball (of course), Medal of Honor: Frontline, and capcoms annaversary game thing (had 25 old capcom games in the cd for xbox). So yeah i love my xbox! although big surprise but i still have not gotten halo or halo 2! and never have played live on any console. Except on my friends ps3 (its great!). Well there ya go!

I played Halo at my friends house right after it came out. We played the 2nd level and I thought it was so awesome how you were playing together and all the marines were with you in that big base. It was awesome.
Played my 2nd Xbox for the first time in 2002 after the first one was stolen ( before I even got a chance to play it )...was I ever piss-off !.....The first game I played was WWF RAW. Wasn't a very good game but looked great which prompted me to go out and buy a copy of Halo, from there I was hooked. Followed up with Max Payne, JSRF and Oddworld : Munch's Oddysee. Man that was great stuff. I still have 2 Xboxes...one is the Halo Special Edition which I still play. I'm looking forward to picking up a 360 for the release of Halo 3 along with a 61" Samsung 1080p HDTV which will also have my original Xbox hooked up to it. I love that thing, have many fond memories of that machine and will never get rid of it.

first time was when my cousin just got halo 1 and he couldnt beat the maw so he asked me to play and i beat it on my first try :D

Around 2am on launch day. Babbage's did the midnight launch "event" for it and I had been the third person to preorder many months before. I intentionally avoided playing the kiosks.
It was a really low key launch event at the store, but once I got home I played Halo until around 8am when I had to go to class. I was in college at the time.
