The BEST game is Halo 2 hands down. But other great titles in my opinion are: Morrowind, Fable, KOTOR 1&2, Forza, Kingdom Under Fire, GTA: SA, SW B2, Black, Burnout series and Time Splitters: Future Perfect. There are still quite a few great games but this is the list of which I think are the greatest.
Best game? Yup hard to choose one. Aside from the obvious Halo 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved, Ninja Gaiden: Black is quite possibly the next best game for the Xbox. It can be a touch frustrating but in the end it bundles together a compelling story, amazing graphics, and killer gameplay. Don't forget who won Xbox's best last year on GS. :D
Jeez, everyone's saying Halo 2... Personally, Halo 2 was a good game, but far from the greatest. (Remember, this is just MY opinion, so no need to argure over it) The really enjoyed the first few levels of the campaign, but after that, I started to be very annoyed by it. And I didn't like the storyline (moved rather quickly, didn't build up suspense like the first did), nor did I like the ending (not to mention the fact that the last level doesn't even include the main character. And I could go on and on... but that's not what this thread is about.
Overall, Halo: Combat Evolved and Far Cry: Instincts are my favorite Xbox games of all time.
I would say....Elder Scrolls III: Morrowin G.o.t.Y, KOTOR 1&2, Fable, Halo: CE and Halo 2, Jade Empire, Black, Conker: Live and Reloaded, and of course countless others...
