See i gave up doing the whole combo thing, it causes way too much panic for most people and i get annoyed while watching people come round mine and try firing 2 weapons at an enemy and shoot the floor. I guess its a main point in the game but yea, if i must then in the story mode on legendary ill use plasma pistol and then quick switch for the battle rifle but as i said thats only on the harder difficulties as I'm not bothered with them anymore. online i suppose I'd use like a plasma rifle and pistol then quick switch when there low to throw em' off and confuse em. Normaly switch to a shotty or carbine, i go for the less conventional methods of death. brings more spice.
I like the BR and sniper, because BR protects short to mid range and sniper from mid to long range. and then you have grenades with both. And instead of plasma pistol and SMG, you should use plasma pistol and BR; plasma pistol takes shields down and BR head shot finishes them off.
id doesnt matter for me what i do is pick up 2 crap weapons like needlers then i approach them while shooting, then i press the B button n down they go... but if i cant hit them, i use smg with red plasma rifle, squeeze slowly on the plasma so that it keep shooting after the smg clip runs out... i take it too seriously... =] but with the updates n whatnot the power of the guns change from time to time...

Um, Excuse me but if you don't play Xbox Live, thats called the n00b combo meaning that if you use it all thie time ur an ubEr noob.my favorite, however, is Dual SMGs. Im deadly with them you could too.. if you know how to use them correctly :roll:

I thought the n00b combo was the plasma pistol and the battle rifle. But what's the big deal. It's a killing game, so whatever works to kill is what you should use, right?
