Halo 2 Update Question

Is there an update you have to do to get online with Halo 2, and if I do this update will I still be able to play with my step-bros over a LAN Link that don't have XBL? Or will they need the update to play it, or could the system possibly update thier system from mine?

I'm not sure. My Xbox has been online once I think, and it was to download a patch or something for Halo 2. I don't believe that one system will update another, but you can connect to live from their box and download the update. That's what one of my friends did because I don't have LIVE.

This would probably be able to be answered better if you asked it in the Halo 2 forum...
