ive been told the first controller was huge then they made the small one(which i have now).is this true.cuz in some pictures in ebay the controller with the xbox looks a bit different.
I got an Xbox when it had its first price drop a couple months after release. It came with the big controller. What is it's nickname again? the brute or something?? When the S controller came out, I bought one, but didn't like it. I now have a 360. After a couple months with it, I broke out my old Xbox to play Psychonauts. I tried to play with the big controller and hated it. I guess it's what you get used to.

Yeah, the og controllers were huge(I own one) and it is extremely hard to use seeing that the buttons are tittled at an angle, opposed to S controller which has them straight aligned. I tried to use the old one which works perfect but to hard for me cuz I'm use to new ones. Prefer the S over old one.
seriously tho, i still prefer the original controller. i bought an s type wireless, and it was pretty good, but the batteries kept dying and the controller would be unresponsive at stupid times. eventually went back to using the big one.
yeah, I guess it just depends on which one you used in the first place. The big ones seem to be more efficinet when it comes to gameplay, but the S control fits better when handling( but the buttons do tend to give out after long usuage i.e. buttons become loose or stuck and dont respond well).
