I'm wondering which one to spend my money on now, there is a chance I'll pick up the other one later, but for now, which do you prefer?

I've never played Indigo Prophecy, but I can say that Riddick is an awesome game. For the time of release, the visuals were top-notch. The gameplay is exciting and definitely fun to play. All-around, I think Riddick is an excellent game, definitely worthy of the few bucks you'll spend on it.
Indigo Prophect is fun, btu the controls are horrible. Like pre- Resident Evil horrible. I don't understand how you could mess up basic movement that badly. There are times where you have to move from one area to the next within a time limit... you can litterally lose because the camera swings and no in order to move left, you have to point your controller up or some nonsense.
A regular game would have you hit left to move left, forward to go forward, etc. Then I thought that maybe controls are always based off of which way your character is facing and not the camera... its not like that either. Every once and a blue moon the controls will make sense and you'll be able to move perfectly.
The story is really good, but the controls make me not want to play it that much. Its a shame.
If you want a unique gaming experience with an amazing storyline, Indigo Prophecy is the way to go. I picked it up a few weeks ago based on recommendations from friends who played it. Fantastic title!
Riddick is great but, it is another FPS in a crowd of FPS.
I played and beat both games, and I felt that Indigo Prophecy fell a bit flat near the end. There really isn't too much gameplay to it, and the plot, which was the only thing that motivated me to keep on playing the game after I was halfway in, also managed to fall slightly apart near the end, which was a huge disappointment for me.
Riddick on the other hand, had a very consistent story curve and kept me engaged both from the gameplay perspective and the plot perspective to the very end.
I managed to find both for $9 each. I ended up getting IP (only because it was the only time I actually saw a copy for sale), but will probably go back today to pick up Riddick!
Thanks everyone.
Every since I got my 360, I find myself buying.catching up on more games for my original Xbox - weird.
