I'm wondering which one to spend my money on now, there is a chance I'll pick up the other one later, but for now, which do you prefer?

They are both excellent. Riddick is a bit more action oriented as far as gameplay. Most of IP is pushing buttons when it tells you to. Both amazing, hard to put one over the other.

Get Indigo Prophecy, Its literally one of the best games you will ever play. This game is literally completley different from the rest. And the story of the game is just awesome, I mean what other game starts out with a murder and the main guy having to run from the cops? it also has multiple endings, so theres a reason to replay it. If your still unsure about Indigo Prophecy, you can download the demo on this site for the PC.

I've never played Indigo Prophecy, but I can say that Riddick is an awesome game. For the time of release, the visuals were top-notch. The gameplay is exciting and definitely fun to play. All-around, I think Riddick is an excellent game, definitely worthy of the few bucks you'll spend on it.

Indigo Prophect is fun, btu the controls are horrible. Like pre- Resident Evil horrible. I don't understand how you could mess up basic movement that badly. There are times where you have to move from one area to the next within a time limit... you can litterally lose because the camera swings and no in order to move left, you have to point your controller up or some nonsense.

A regular game would have you hit left to move left, forward to go forward, etc. Then I thought that maybe controls are always based off of which way your character is facing and not the camera... its not like that either. Every once and a blue moon the controls will make sense and you'll be able to move perfectly.

The story is really good, but the controls make me not want to play it that much. Its a shame.

If you want a unique gaming experience with an amazing storyline, Indigo Prophecy is the way to go. I picked it up a few weeks ago based on recommendations from friends who played it. Fantastic title!

Riddick is great but, it is another FPS in a crowd of FPS.

I played and beat both games, and I felt that Indigo Prophecy fell a bit flat near the end. There really isn't too much gameplay to it, and the plot, which was the only thing that motivated me to keep on playing the game after I was halfway in, also managed to fall slightly apart near the end, which was a huge disappointment for me.

Riddick on the other hand, had a very consistent story curve and kept me engaged both from the gameplay perspective and the plot perspective to the very end.

that is a pretty hard choice....in the end i would go with riddick because the actual gameplay is better.you should play indigo prohecy atleast once though because it has one of the best stories you will ever see in a video game.

Keep in mind that Riddick is not compatible with the Xbox 360 but Indigo Prophecy is.

I haven't played either but this is just to help you in your decision.

Both are awesome but if I had to choose one I'd go with Riddick. Indigo Prophecy is more about story so the action scenes can be a little lame since it's basically just pressing whatever buttons are shown on screen. Riddick is short but the gameplay is excellent and fairly unique.

That's a pretty hard choice there. I'd go with Indigo Prophecy though. It has the single best story in video gaming to date.

I managed to find both for $9 each. I ended up getting IP (only because it was the only time I actually saw a copy for sale), but will probably go back today to pick up Riddick!

Thanks everyone.

Every since I got my 360, I find myself buying.catching up on more games for my original Xbox - weird.

I own both games, and I would recommend Riddick before Indigo Prophecy. IP is a great game with interesting gameplay elements, but Riddick is such an immersive experience. One of the best games from last gen.

Both games are great, I've only played a little of Riddick, but Indigo Prophecy is one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait for Heavy Rain which is being made by the same people who made Inidgo Prophecy. But you won't be disappointed in buying Indigo Prophecy, excellent gameplay and the storyline is top notch

Absolutely Indigo Prophecy over Chronicles of Riddick. If you updated your XBOX 360 dashboard, then you can buy Indigo Prophecy in the "XBOX Originals" section of the Marketplace. (Just in case you didn't know that...) IP has a better storyline, which totally draws you in. The gameplay is touch & go every now and then, but overall a better quality game than CoR. CoR suffers its own gameplay problem... and its just bland. Whoever thinks doing mundane tasks and killing uninspired enemies in an environment that has less colors than an Apple II e monitor is fun should be banned from video gaming. If you want some Riddick, watch the movies. If you want an original, interesting game, get IP.

I'd go with Riddick. Indigo Phrophecy depends a lot on looking for clues which is not that appealing to me.

Two very different games

Actiony- go for Riddick

Story/thinking - go for IP - but the story in IP is very weird, and you dont have all the freedom the director spent ages telling us weed have

I still like it
