I wouldn't be suprised if it eventually has a sequel, but there is definitely room for improvement. I enjoyed the game, but not enough to ever go back and replay it. It's been so long since I've played it that I don't really remember what I didn't like about it, but I don't remember it having quite as many options as other RPGs like KOTOR. I admit that the real-time fighting is enjoyable, but I think it needs to be refined somehow. Like I said, though, it's been a while since I played.
i didn't like jade empire... bland fighting and too much dialogue...mjk_1

I didn't really like the combat system either but I might come back to it some day and finish it off (or at least get into it). I much prefered Fable but you don't really have a choice with RPGs for the xbox so it is a good way to pass time.Â
I loved Jade Empire I have been a Bioware fan for years but I put off playing Jade Empire for a long time I just didnt know how much I would have liked an asian martial arts game...boy did I ever regret putting it off! I loved the game =)Â Shame on me for doubting Bioware lol
it is a generally good game,one of my fav RPGs!!!Also i am sure there willl be a second one(this is informed on GS)for 360,there are lots to improve,especially AI and fighting system
It is a very good game with room for improvement. The real time fighting in rpg's in my opinion is either good or bad. Take Parasite Eve for example (old PS1 game), it had the same fall back in my opinion and that is great graphics, good story but the combat system needed refinded. But I do hope for a sequel and hope they put a little more work into the combat system.
Haven't played JE yet, but I owned KOTOR and that was the friggin' best rpg i've played. The Lightside/darkside is really balanced out and you have to actually think about what you are about to do, unlike Fable where you just randomly stab people. I almost cried when I listened to Mission's heartbreaking story about her brother, but it quickly turned to laughter when I Force Persuaded the wookiee to rip the little brat to shreds.
I heard this is real-time, but is it a weird hybrid style (kinda like KOTOR) or is it fully real-time?Â
I here its great so im gonna get it maybe 2day i have a very minimal collection of xbox games i only started play it agaiin after realising i wanted the xbox 360 and not a ps2...a i mean 3
Jade Empire is very deep RPG. It focus on Martial Arts, if you master some martial art very good, and you focus just on one art it can be very fun, and you will learn how to fight good. I finish that game 2 times. And i can say its one of the most addictive games on xbox. if you like RPGs it can be very fun
Well I liked the game but I dont think they could make a second game since the storyline pretty much ended. They could make a second game and it could be Fantastic or just plain Terrible & insult to the first game.
