Hey guys, lookin for a good RPG. I played KOTOR a few months back and then brought it back to blockbuster and I deleted my file (big mistake) anyway, I got as far as a little after I went to the Jedi Academy and got a lightsaber..I think I went to another world after that and thats as far as I got. Since I deleted my file, is it worth doing all that again, or should I just try a completely new game and go after Jade Empire since ive never played it before? thankss
never have played jade empire, but kotor i have played. im not a big game guy but forthree nights (school nights) i stayed up tille about 3 in the morning playing it because i wanted to no what happened and i loved the game play. finally i also took it back to blockbuster. I is a very fun game and theres no question about it, go for it, finish it, ull love the ending. :D
Played it through from start to finish at least 10 times. (With each character, then with my favorite character (a female) getting the guy, then getting a girl, then getting both girls.
I found playing around with the love triangle to be fun, but more importantly, the story was good. And leveling up correctly and becoming almost God-like was exciting to acheive.

I would go with Kotor Because of the length but jade empire is a Really goodgame buts like 15 hours long compared to like 25 in kotor
i'd go with KOTOR. the ending is awesome & worth another play through . they've both been out for awhile so they should be pretty cheap . get them both

Well, admittedly, I am a fan of martial arts and Chinese culture. There was no doubt I would love the game. Just walking around kicking people's asses was enough for me. Turning people to stone then shattering them? Priceless.

I would have gone with Jade Empire since you've already gone through about half of KotOR. KotOR was a great game, and the general gameplay was a bit more balanced and fun, but Jade's storyline blew KotOR's out of the water. I've played and finished both games and I would highly reccomend playing both of them, though Jade Empire first, since it'll be a fresh experiance.
KotOR II wasn't very good. it's exactly the same as the first one, with less interesting characters, a much worse plot, and much more bugs. Graphics and gameplay are identicle.
I just got Jade Empire about 2 weeks ago and have put maybe an hour into it but its good. Seems to be love hate around these parts and a lot of people knock the voice work which I kinda agree gets teadious but I would recommend the game its pretty original and if you are at all into martial arts movies you will enjoy it from what I've gathered so far its kinda like an epic kung fu fantasy movie
ive playes and beaten both games and they both are really good.the story in kotor is amazing,same with jade empire.i like the style of fighting in jade empire better then in kotor so if i would have to choose it would be jade empire.
I would say Kotor because while i liked the combat of Jade Empire i completely hated the story (it became way too predictable to me and then turned shlame).
jade empire was a fun but so wa kotor.. really you should play both of them cause they are some of the greatest rpg's on xbox. kotor was way longer though. and kotor has a sequel to keep you interested.
I have both, but they have different qualities, i believe, associated with them. I never got into Jade Empire, but the visuals are pretty stunning. On the other hand, KOTOR is such a greater game to play. If you don't like Star Wars universe, just ignore that fact because neither do i and i love the game.
I've never played Jade Empire, but KOTOR ROCKS! It is truly one of the greatest RPGs of all time. It's not the best in my opinion, but it used to be my favorite game. I beat it at least twelve times, and when I got tired of it, I bought KOTOR II. I beat TSL about ten times, and now I'm pretty tired of both to be honest. But KOTOR is a very good game, great story, good graphics. *Mind trick* Play it you will.
