I've only played Otogi. It's an interesting play, but I can't bring myself to finish 1 or 2. Haven't bothered with Prince of Persia because platformers aren't my bag.
I prefer the pacing of POP, but the design and setting of Otogi. One thing about Otogi that kills me is that you're constantly running out of life, so you feel you need to rush through the levels, which are the most beautiful levels out there, pretty much, and completely desructible. POP is much more chilled out, with great climbing mechanics and a competent fencing engine. These are both 9's in my book.
in otogi the characters are more badass than PoP, and theres alot more action. PoP has a MUCH better story. but if you want good action, otogi all the way
Everyone and their mother should play through PoP at least once. Just make sure you don't get caught by the game save bug around 70% of the way in or you will be replaying the entire game again.
Otogi was just ok in my mind. Lots of action, but it didn't have the whole package that PoP had in my opinion.
POP and OTOGI ..............veryyy hard decisiooon............hmmmmm i would say otogi since u can Build your character (equip weapons, exp accesories etc.)..........BUT if you r choosin between Pop warrior within  and Otogi...I would definitely say POP WW
POP sands of time is there best POPÂ IMO but havent ever finish 3rd one just got board but 1st is great, i would probably play the 3rd one more if u didnt have to play a character that could die just by standing still
