i own a xbox 360, so the number of xbox games i could play are very limited. and i was thinking of buy a rpg game and if you talk about rpg on xbox, it's KOTOR. so i was wondering, which game should i get? i haven't played either of them. and i don't really care too much about story, i care mostly about gameplay and how fun the game is. so, which game is better?
KOTOR 1 since it's the better game out of the 2 imo, though I gotta say both are awesome but if you get the first game first you'll also get the story a bit better aswell so go for KOTOR 1
Go for KOTOR 1, belive me after this one you'll most likely ant to play KOTOR2, They are both very good but the 2nd one is better if you played the first
KOTOR I was an instant classic. It was the best Star Wars licensed game since the original X-Wing games for the pc's in the 90's. I did enjoy it more then KOTOR II but both are great games. Get both, they're cheap enough.

GET KOTOR 1! the second has the worst endings and is a total waste of time and even more so if you have played the second one. play the first then if you decide to play the second then you will feel like your playing the same game and that will bore since not much has changed from the first game. the first game will seem memorable but the second is such a let down that it's unbelieveable!
KOTOR 2 could have been a lot better had it not been rushed into production. There is a company out there but I forget their name that is fixing all of the lost content and putting it back in to the game for a pc release. I'll get it for the pc jsut to see the missing content and to see if it really does fix the game like a lot of people say.
Both games are actually quite good, but KotOR 2 was rushed to production and there's a lot of content that was cut from the game, including endings. It was actually so rushed, the developers didn't have time to remove the files for that content. There's a group called Team Gizka that's been working for about 2 years to restore all of it. Even though I like the second game a lot, i'd probably wait until they're finished. Some sections of the game make it very obvious that something was removed.
They don't have any plans to release that content for the Xbox version though, so if you're interested in the full game, you'll have to pick up the PC version. They haven't actually made a public release yet, so nobody has actually played through with the restorations.
