should i get xbox( the first one) or other stuff for my 3rd party system?

tell me what game i should get for xbox and tell me how much i should get the xbox for ( $$)

or whats better PS2?

I recommend -

Shooters - Halo, Rainbow 6 3

RPGs - Morrawind, Fable, KotoR, Jade Empire, Marvel UA, Xmen Legends II

Sports - Top Spin, Links, NFL 2k5, NBA 2k7

Action/Adventure - Phi-Ops, Beyond Good and Evil, PoP series, Max Payne Series, Riddick

Racing - PGR2, Forza Motorsport, Burnout Series.

I'd get it just for the (console) exclusives like Ninja Gaiden and Morrowind.  Btw, not all multiplatform titles are better on teh XBox.  Some are neither better nor worse.

Some of the ones that are better are:

Mercenaries - better load times, but audio and visuals are no better

Red Faction 2 - graphically superior, new multiplayer levels (that you have to unlock)

Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City - better load times, better visuals, custom soundtracks

Black - custom soundtracks

Darkwatch - XBox Live functionality, system link

Area 51 - XBox Live functionality, system link.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2: graphically superior

The regular XBOX is still a great system and it shouldn't cost you more than $100-$130. And you should get Halo 1&2, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Fable, and KOTOR 1&2. Also, Conker: Live and Reloaded is a great game.
