so i was playing split screen with 2 of my friends. And i was like pwning them. It was at the Beaver Creek stage. I was coming out of the blue base and all of the sudden i fell into this pit and died and said "killed by theguardians" and neither me or my friends were named "theguardians"
The gaurdians are basically enviromental deaths.....in the one level where the trains pass between the stage...if you get run over the gaurdians will be the ones who kill you.....why they are called that i don't know

yeah they guardians were in Halo 1 too, I can't remebmer exactly but it was something like if you and your enemy on multi-player melee each other at the exact same time one of the people would be "Killed by the Guardians".
1. The Guardians are anything that kills you (During multi-player mode) that wasn’t caused by other players. There isn’t too much known about this topic.
5. Maybe this person doesn’t play Halo 2 every minute that he breathes. Not everyone knows about The Guardians. I didn’t. Of course, that’s because I never played any of the Halo series before (yes, shocking). Of course, you don't have much to say, either. You just say you can't believe the creator of the topic doesn't know about The Guardians, and you never explained anything about it.
Yeah I noticed that its said killed by the guardians when I got ran over by the train but I like finding cool ways to die on halo so the train has been a constant sorce of fun
