well i prolly played halo for 5 or so hours ..but i played re4 for like 9 the first night i rented it..then i rented it for another day and beat it in like 20 hours =/ now it takes like 9 to beat.
Well back in the day, when i first got playstation in 98 ( 2 years late mind you ) so i was still playing sonic and all that and was completely oblivious to all 3D gaming. My parents bought me a playstation for my birthday along with

Twisted Metal 2
Resident Evil 2
Metal gear solid
Jet moto 2
Crash bandicoot
and Driver.
I know its not all one game, but i stayed up for 2 days straight playing all of them.
I was 8.
I cant play games for any more then 3-5 hours nowadays. None of them can replicate the feeling i felt when i first played those games.
may not be quite as good as you guys but i played Final Fantasy(can't remember which one) for around 24 1/2 hours slept for 1hour then played Tony Hawk's American Wasteland for about 12 hours. then took a well deserved sleep
Not sure how many hours, but I know a put in a lot of consecutive hours in Ultima Online, and later on in World of Warcraft... online games can be really addictive!
When we have a Lan (me and two close friends) we play for quite some time, but we change the game from ime to time. The longest time we spent playing ONE game continously was a night long of Diablo 2 LoD with the Hell-on-Earth mod. Must have been around 7-8 hours or so.
Longest gaming session was playing FF9 i think on ps2. Stayed up all night playing when i was about 12/13 must of clocked at least 6 hours. Never again. :shock:
I did something probably few have ever done. I beat Final Fantasy 7 in one setting. 27 hours, with nothing but 1 pizza and 3 liters of Mountain Dew... not to mention a few hours of sleep over the stretch but yea... 27 hour of Final Fantasy 7
I was hoping someone else was going to mention Morrowind. Overall, I think I had about 100 hours in 4 months while in college. Many times I would play Morrowind for about eight to twelve hours straight...
The xmas i got Halo i went on it from 5am(woke up at 4am cos i was so exited about xbox) till 3pm. I had to stop for xmas dinner,but using cutlery was a problem (I was young at the time and had small hands and those pads were just giant)!!
When Super Street Fighter II came out on SNES, I believe my friend and I played about 11 hours straight. I then couldn't play at all for several days from the blisters.
well with GT games you're made to play for very longer periods of time, so there's that (in excess of 100hours in some cases :?) as for most other games where i've actually played for long periods of time when i haven't had to in order to continue though, the most is around 40hours...on quite a few games too actually, including the shadow hearts games, forza motorsport, the disgaea games, final fantasy (7, 9, and 10, to be more precise), as well as many times with multiple games when i've got several new ones at once...
ok this might be funny but when i was small in my pokemon years. whenever pokemon snap came out on the 64, im played that game from 9 at night till like 7 in the morning..thats the longest i can remember. i finished the game by the way. and recently i think about 7 hours on kingdom hearts 2. and about 5 on gears of war.
