I already have. Aside from the shoddy build quality (red rings ftw), I don't regret it whatsoever, it's a fantastic bit of kit. The answer to your question would be some good games, the thing that makes any system worth getting. The 360 has plenty - go buy one :P

The price, 200-300 £ is a lot of money to pay for a console plus the games are expensive. Theres plenty of better things to spend the money on IMO

I only bought an Xbox this January so I will be upgrading after I have finished most of the many Xbox games I have bought for cheap (as well as the PS2 & GC games I haven't finished yet). Also it may be cheaper by then and less likely to fail.

How about playing though KOTOR for the umpteenth time, hearing the fan freak out and a little red ring of light appearing. That's what happened to me last week and what got me to order a 360.

I am in the same boat as you because I currently have 15 games yet to start and another 5 games to complete! I will buy a xbox 360 once I complete them by hopefully next summer.

For me I'm going to wait for the hardware problems to be fixed and the game prices to go down. There's been too many problems reported with the system overheating and dying.

I already have but heres what made me do it in the first place:

1. Better games( R6 Vegas, gears, oblivion, soon to be COD4, halo 3, etc)

2. Better graphics

3. Xbox live on the 360 has been dramatically improved (xbox live arcade is one of my fav things about it)

4. Microsoft killed the xbox1.

5. xbox live marketplace= da bomb.

It only overheats if you keep it on for like 2 days straight and give its exhaust no room to breathe.

I;m not going to update yet,,, theres still so much fun to be had on the orginal... you might not be in the here and now as far as graphics but there are tons of story you have yet to imbark on... here are some reason to stay put

jade empire, kotr, spliter cell series, godfather, dues ex, demon stone, psi-ops, suffering, manhunt, the thing, bulder gate series, fable series, far cry instinct,,, ninja gaden, nfl 2k5 ,,,, getting up... I just now dedicating like a week to get these games finish and under my belt,, but it's so fun to be in one game with no distraction... I would say stick with your xbox but if you got to go to the 360 games like oblivion,,, gears of war,,, mass effect.,.. those might challenge to spend the money and the price drop doesnt hurt.

but i think old is better graphics arent everything just look at some of the old reviews for that time which wasn't that long ago they were raving over this stuff,,, but if you think about it pc graphics have been there 6yrs before why do you think people have to keep upgrading there computer for games cause now 360 has computer graphics of old without the hard drive.....I just think they need to put out quality games.

funny thing is ps2 games still are over priced cause the ps3 i mean neo-geo is horrible i mean for a game to cost 600 plus dollars and your best game is a port of xbox should say alot (oblivion) but the ps2 has awsome games like rygar2 and rygar 3

Friendly advise to all, keep your xbox's when you update to 360. I traded mine in to put the down payment on the 360 assuming it was backward compatible.... even the handful of games that are compatible don't run well at all. I ended up buying the original xbox again.
