yeah i really only liked halo because the normal difficulty was actually a partial challenge instead of the normal difficulty on halo 2 where its like your playin it on easy or even very easy...

It sure seems like you only bought sports games in 2005. 

In no particular order:

1.  Ninja Gaiden (the best action game with the best graphics)

2.  Halo CE, 2 (its Halo, nuff said)

3.  NBA 2k series (owns NBA Live)

4.  Madden series (not as realistic as NFL 2k, but its soo fun :))

5.  Timesplitter series (FUN FUN FUN)
