Don't quote me on this, but I believe you can. I know for a fact you play music and look at pics on the 360 from the PC, but I have yet to try movies. I don't see why there would be an exception, but you never know...

You need at least a Windows 7 compatible computer and special software that must be downloaed from Microsoft it's annoying because I've got an out dated version of XP so I can use the computer as an "External Device" but I can't stream or watch movies all I can do download pictures.

You need Windows Vista/7. There's a program that Microsoft has called Windows Media Center, which streams content from your PC to your 360.

yes, and it's wicked easy. you don't need windows 7 or vista, i have been streaming videos from a windows xp system on a daily basis. for best results and the most streaming options download the free software "tversity"

yes you can. there is an option on the 360 called windows media centre. you will need vista or 7 to do this. click it on the xbox and follow it through. it will give you a code to put it in on the computer. on the pc go to windows media center go to tasks then extender follow through add the code and let it set up. go back on the xbox go to media centre it will load your libary and then you can browser through music. Movies is a bit touchy it had a video clip but that was it. same with music it wasen't all of my music. it might be possible to do it in reverse but im not 100% on that.
