$10 a game, wow!

I just bought my xbox360 november last year and to be honest, I'm not a big spender so I have to pick up my games wisely...the nice thing about it is most of the games that are rated 9/10 and above are usually at a cheaper price now (Oblivion, Gears of War, Bioshock, etc...) but then again, there are also games out there that I would want to try but since they had fair or mediocre reviews, I just did not buy them thinking $20 to $30 is still big bucks especially if you're gonna add it all up...anyway, back to my point, i'm thankful that there was a post in gamespot, three days ago i think, about BB having this $10 sale on old games...of course, here i go again with my bad habit (being gullible and all) of looking at gamespot review first before actually purchasing it...well, most of the games that were on sale fell on good - fair and below rating, but what the heck! I went to BB awhile ago and purchased DMC4, Quake, Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery, and Silent Hill! I have not played all of them yet of course, but it was really fun buying those games for a price which I feel is reasonable enough to take risk! :) just wondering, what games did you buy for $10?

Both Quake Wars and Too Human aren't worth 10 bucks. Command and Conquer is a different story however. I was going to go purchase C&C but then I realized finals are coming up so I shouldn't.Pittfan666

I disagree with Too human not being worth $10. I bought it for $30 or $40 i forgot. It has a great co-op mode and i thought the combat was fun. It has its flaws of course but it was entertaining to me at least.

Yeah I went this morning when they opened and swooped up the last copies of Soul Calibur IV & Infinite Undiscovery. I was there when they opened, and there were already a buttload of people there with stacks of games in hand.

I just got back from my BB store, and most of the games were already gone. I think they were just cleaning out their warehouses.

For someone reason when i went to the cashier to purchase SOUL CALIBUR 4 it was $8.99 instead of $9.99...HEY I WASN'T COMPLAINING !:lol:

Too Human is well worth $10.

Well I'm glad somebody enjoyed it. I could not get into it and I got it for $5 at the blockbuster sale in January. ALSO You guys do know you can price match at Wal-Mart?Doomtime

Just came from the store. As I figured, they were sold out of Soul Calibur IV, But I was surprised to see Too Human and Fracture had been sold out as well. So I picked up The Bourne Conspiracy, Turok and 007: Quantum of Solace, whichthe cashier was reluctant to give me as it didn't have a sticker on it indicating it was a $10 game. She checked online, and claimed it said it was $30, so I ended up having to drag her back to the price tag in the games section, and show her that it was truly on sale. She still wouldn't give up though, and ended up having to call the manager, who just gave it to me right off the bat.

I didn't buy anything. I wwent, but my Best Buy didn't have crap. It had Alone in the Dark, NFL Tour, and NFL Head Coach. And yet, they have out about 100 copies of Rock Band 2. It's so lame.

lol! it's really fun how people would react to these forums...well, maybe the cashier did laugh...i was able to get what i want and that is what matters...hmmm, i was not able to get Pure though because it was already sold out...anyway, i think i was able to save $90 to $100 today by just buying those games...so i guess i'm laughing too! : ) i know these games may not be so spectacular but who knows...everyone has their own taste anyway...lost odyssey had a 7.5 score but i enjoyed playing it (it's a 9/10for me)...blaaaaaah, i know you get my point.
