Xbox Live is $50 a year and a 100ft ethernet cord would be very expensive I'd imagine, you might want to go wireless.  You can also look up ethernet cords at www.staples.com

Yeah, I made a post a while back about going wireless and some people said that it was annoying, so I dunno.

Going wireless isn't annoying, just sometimes you can get issue's. If you want it to work 24/7 and have no change of any issues go wired. I have wireless and have no issues but i install wireless as a part time job so i'm pretty good. 1 year is 49.99 well you get 12+1 month for 49.99 and a 100 ft cable is about 62.99.

Here is a good cat 5 site and a link to some good cable

May advice is to buy your cords from a college somewhere. I get 50 foot cords at school for 10 bucks. THen buy a connector for like 2 bucks and your set. It cheap and easy, and the best part is you dont even have to be a student. No school will check your id or anything since they have visitors buying junk from the stores anyways.

nah, wireless is far more expensive because of the fact you don't have running wires cluterring up, the adapter is 100 bucks, plus the cost of the router, another 50-60 bucks. You can probably find a 100' cable at newegg for about 25 bucks.

Also, wireless isn't so much as annoying as unreliable, unless you can get a really nice adapter (which would be REALLY expensive), generally the routers you buy from Best Buy or Staples etc. can sometimes give you unstable connections, which may cause you to lose connection momentarily, meaning you'll drop from game, which will suck if you are hosting.
