I hope it is... My 120Gig HDD for my Elite just aint big enough im always having to uninstall games to make room for new ones..Ever since the install to HDD option came i cant find myself not installing games because its so much better having a Quiet 360..

Do you think we will see a 1000GB HD or not?

NOT REAL---just imagine how much it would cost if the 120Gb is at $149? Sorry, but whoever told you this was on crack. :)

No.. 120GB is way more then enough for most people.. I have spent 1000s or dollars on xbla games and DLC for example and I still have a little under half my HDD left. Installing games is completely pointless and even if you want it quiet.. installs don't take long and you can do like what 10 games and still have room left? I doubt you play that many games enough to even make installing them worth while.

Try closer to $1250 if it's priced anything like the 120Gb. That's why I say "BOGUS" on this. :)

They're inflating the price of the 120 gb and 60 gb hard drives, space isn't that expensive, anymore. I see a larger capacity hard drive in the future of the Xbox if they're really serious about this "games on demand" service and plan to make alot of games downloadable. Other than that, not so sure there'd be a point in a bigger HD - but MS does want you to pay for music and movies and stuff to put on the HD.

It'd be awesome if this large hard drive full of downloadable games also worked with the next xbox and they made the next xbox 100% backward compatible. The 360 has such a great library of titles, I think it'd be great to see it carry over to the next xbox, whenever it comes out.

It'd be even more awesome if they let you mail in your DVD copy to get the downloadable on demand one (not likely to happen).

1TB HDDs cost less than $100 for PC.

You should be able to get one for 360 for a similar price, but it's not gonna happen.

I upgraded my iMac to a 1500GB (1.5TB) internal HD. As for Xbox, I still have the 20gb and I do plan to get a bigger HD as soon as one bigger than 120GB comes out!

Similar price? Not even close. That same $100 gets you 60GB on 360. And no, we will not see a 1TB HDD

I think it'll be great in theory, but will cost like $500AU or something, because the 120gb is around $100-250, im not to sure. I think before they reach 1000gb theyll go to 250, 450, etc . .. I dont think 1000 is necessary just yet, and they probably wont be introducing it until entire games can be downloaded online.

I would rent more movies and buy more downloadable games if the hard drive was cheaper, or if I could use my own external hard drive. A 1TB drive costs about $80 these days, and even if you go notebook drives, 320GB is $50. There's absolutely no reason 120GB should be over a hundred bucks.

That's what people said 20 years ago when desktops had 10gb HDD's. We'll always need more space.

Not this gen... I have 1 game and about 20 demos on my 60 gig, and i still have 20 gigs left. No need to install all of my games. Just the one i play the most.

We won't see 1TB hard drives this gen. I don't see why any 360 owner would need that much space anyway.
