1080p only works through VGA or HDMI. If you don't have an elite or the new premium console with HDMI, you are gonna have to get the VGA cable.Ranger_x8b
Some HDTV's will accept 1080p via component, but very few do. If he can that's great.

Yea, it's so rare that I usually don't mention 1080p through component. Ranger_x8bWrong. Every TV in my house is 1080p and every one will accept 1080p through component (though I use HDMI on all but with the 360). No offence, but please learn what you are talking about before you make a statement like that.
