1366x768 equals what resoulution [help]

my new tv says it has 1366x768 resoultion and nothing else can use guys tell me what that resoulution actually is.. eg 1080i? THANX

My tv is the same, it can do 1080i.

it can do 720p and 1080i being that since the i in 1080i means you're not really getting 1080 lines of resolution (in your case you're getting 768)

yeah..tvs that arent 1920x1080 cant do 1080i because the resolutions are only 1366x768..if you set a tv that is 1366x768 to 1080i it just makes it 768i. 720P is much better because of the progressive image.

ok thanks:D whats my best bet what should i put the resoulution at? and is there a major difference between 720p and 1080i? thanks:D

p is progressive, i is interlaced. progressive is better for video games since it loads the whole screen at once unlike interlaced which loads it by lines horizontally.

SO ur sayin 720p is better then 1080i? i always thought the higher the number the better meaning 1080i is b etter then 720p? am i right

If your gaming on a 1366x769 TV 720P will look better.

how do i notice the difference between 1080i and 720p when i play so i know what one looks better? do i have to look out for shiny enviroments or what? im not sure cvause they both would look identical i thought so anything i should look out for specificly before i go and find out if 1080i plays better or worse on my tv... thanks:D
