My favourite few games are all 3rd person so im going to have to go with this. The old resident evil games (2&3) is what i really feel comfortable with.
3rd person might as well be synonymous with 'bad camera'. Almost every review of every 3rd person game will mention the camera angles in a negative sense at least once. Maybe it is because I grew up with FP but I prefer 1st person to anything 3rd person.
I'm going to have to plum for 1st person. After having played games such as Bioshock and Condemned 2 with the lights off and the curtains drawn, I just couldn't choose a 3rd person shooter over the total immersion a well made 1st person game can provide.
I'm going to go with 1st person. I just enjoy seeing the game more through the main characters point of view. Having to look around not knowing whats behind you is fun as well.:P
I like third, I always know where my enemy is. I can play first persons also, but it annoys me when on games like Halo 3 people jumping all around and your trying to catch up to them in view so you can shoot at them.
i do enjoy being able to see my character especially in an rpg or game where you can customize your look or get new gear. however i do better in 1st for example i SUCK at gears (even tho its awesome). plus 1st person makes me feel more of a part of the game and i can see small objects and details better.
Really depends on the atmosphere of the game. In the quick paced games like Halo and CoD I like the 1st person because it is a lot easier for getting shots off quick. But for games like Gears and RE I like the 3rd person. Works great for the take your time kinda play where you sneak around and hide behind cover and such.
It depends, I like First Person more but I can deal with Third Person. I do worse with Third Person too. Harder for me to aim, but I still like Third Person. I like games that let you choose, Third / First. Awesomeness.
