Splinter Cell! I picked up the series at Pandora Tomorrow [Jakarta is still my second favourite mission next to Shanghai, which is FTW in every way] and I love it! Perfect Dark Zero is good, however the combat was incredibly boring and easy . . . and the physics are royally mucked up. I mean, guns and body armour that just, kind of hovers in place for a second before dropping to the ground? What's up with that! It's the only game where I've been put off playing it by the physics system. Oh, and the fact that we all saw what the engine could do in Kameo [600 easy gamerpoints . . .] and yet PDZ rarely delivered - an unimaginative festival of shiny steel and concrete and palm leaves. Sure, the tech was great, but the style was boring.
SC:DA on the other hand, has the best all-round use of the 360's power I've seen besides GoW. The rain blowing off the chopper pad on Shanghai. The snow in the Sea of Okhotsk. The shimmering pool on the ship in Cozumel. And then of course, I loved the nuke moment . . . overkill for a cruise liner, but I loved it . . .
