best outcome from these announcements (for me) would be: officially announcing the spring update to have all those cool features that was posted in a topic here yesterday, and the halo 3 beta finally launching. that would own. screw the elite.

for one they'll finally be releasing bigger harddrives and it's good news for future 360 owners.
I could care less about a new hard drive. I still have 10 gigs and i cannot think of anything that can fill it up. Music, videos and pictures stay on my PC and demos get deleted.
Well I definitely think MS will comment on the bigger HDD to say the least. And probably something about Halo 3. Im dreading the big black box though. It will suck if there is actually another version of the 360 coming out. It will make me wish I wouldve just waited to buy one.
Then I wouldnt have had to call MS 6 times to replace it due to hardware failures, clean up my HDD every week because of lack of space, and of course I could be using an HDMI cable instead of component. I use that with my PS3 and there is a big difference in picture quality. If the new 360 is real, I will probably not be an early console adopter 5-6 years from now when the next next-gen cycle comes around for fear of getting hosed. By the way I thought MS said HDMI and 1080p were not needed for true HD? Apparently they are just going with the flow:P

My guess is that it'll be nothing at all or things I could care less about (new 360 for example) o o i know, those lucky people can now pay their $20 to get on a list to have a chance to do the Halo 3 beta that will be avialable around late summer early fall but that'll get pushed back again like the time xbox live should be back on.
Why the hell do so many people keep guessing it will have anything to do with the Spring Update? Since when would there be a breaking press release to talk about a damned firmware update? This is obviously way way more important than the friggin Spring Update. Not that I'm not excited about some potential for the update, but come on. I'm sure it will be along the lines of Halo 3 Beta and or the Elite(please god let this be true, I wants me one of em). Anyway, maybe it will be to announce that MS has purchased Take2. Isn't this announcement actually coming from Australia? Because of the 1 year birthday party of the 360 over there?
