It's not really over-rated (it's still good) but it just doesn't really compare to the other excellent titles. CoD4 and Bioshock revolutionized shooters.
Easy Bioshock and Halo 3 i guess even though Halo 3 can be boring at times. I cant say mass effect because i have never played it but here its longer than mass effect but combat looks kinda weak
