hey I just got another x-box 360 today and my old one has 3 prongs to plug into an outlet, but my new one has only 2.  Does anybody know why this is?  Thanks

That is very weird.  That means it's not grounded, which sucks

my xbox 360 has 2 prongs also, so I wouldn't worry too much. this is my first 360 btw and I have had no problems.

Most of them aren't grounded. In fact, I've yet to see one that is. It's no big deal, the Xbox 360 power supply has failsafes. That LED on the power supply should glow red if there's a ground fault.

I would assume that they all have built in GFCIs. I'm not sure why the older models had a ground. The only thing I can think of is for safety since game consoles tend to be in the hands of younger ones, but I think most of these cables are double-insulated anyway.
