Yeah all you have to do is leave it off. The least is 10 mins. Thats how long I waited and it worked. I had that problem a month ago and nothing ever happened since then. OH and unplug the power plug too. That can help. (Fans don't they just waste more power. cooling fans are a waste).DarkMaster7991
Yeah good call on that. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in too. Just make sure it gets real good ventilation. I try to keep my room as cool as possible as well.
just look at the air intakes on your console and see if they have dust in them, this will make it heat up more and that's not good for consoles. Unplug everything and vacuum out all the dust you can see, and do this regularly if your console gets dusty.
Doing this will make your xbox be able to breathe more and let the hot air out, so it won't overheat as much.
