I was playing Rock Band with Guitar Hero guitars, and I got shocked by one, then theGreen and Blue Fret Buttons didn't work. Then I got a different guitar, got shocked again, and now it all doesn't work.

2 working guitars, 2 shocks, 2 broken guitars

WTF

Is there any way to fix this, or are they fried forever?

wow man, that sucks. I doubt there's anything you can do to fix them, but check to see if there's a warranty on them or something.

If you can fix the wires, I guess its possible. My Xplorer has been fried for a while, luckily I have a Les Paul to use.

yeah, thats really odd. i only use my GH Guitars, and they havent given me any issues. played through a career in 2 days, so they got some serious use, and a few days of Co-op Tour play. Nothing odd. They should be covered by warranty. anything the electrocutes you should be replaced.

The same thing happened to me! We bought GH3 when it 1st came out and soon after it zapped me and half of the buttons stopped working. Later on we bought a new one and JUST a few mins ago I was playing rockband using the GH3 guitar and it zapped me AGAIN!

The last time they took it back no problem and refunded all of our money back, hopefully they will do the same this time because we have to take it back again!
