2007 or 2008?

What was the better year for videogames between this two?

I think it´s a close call, but my bet is on 2007. So many awesome games...I don´t know about 2009, but i don´t think it could be better than 07... or even 08. Hope i´m wrong on this one.

Gears 2, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Prince of Persia, GH WT, RB 2, Fifa 09, Far Cry 2, GTA IV, Mirrors Edge, Tomb Raider Underworld, Left4Dead, Dead Space........

Yes and that was eclipsed by Burnout Paradise, Condemned 2, GTA 4, Lego Batman and Indiana Jones, Battlefield Bad Company, Soulcalibur 4, Madden, Tales of Vesperia, Viva Pinata, NHL 09, Rock Band 2, Baja, Brothers in Arms, FIFA, Dead Space, Saints Row 2, Spider Man, Far Cry, Fable 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, Fallout 3, Namco Museum, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty WAW, Banjo Nuts and Bolts, Left4 Dead, Prince of Persia......

That's not even adding in the quality games the Live Arcade saw

2008 was far and away better then 2007 not only in retail releases but online releases as well.

why can't anyone choose 2007 over 2008? A lot of the games you listed aren't even games i personally enjoyed. A lot of those games were letdowns, and some were impressive. IMO, Bioshock/COD4/Mass Effect overshadowed most (if not all) of those titles.

I agree. I enjoyed a lot of 2008 jrpgs and i can't wait to see what 2009 has to offer.
