If youre going to get Live and keep demos and videos, then go with the 120 gig but if you just play the games then 20 gig is fine. 360 takes up I think 8 gigs outta the box so you have about 12 gigs left and I dnt think I went below 9 gigs when I had the premium.

i have the 20 gigand if i had it to do over again i would have gotten the elite. if you don't intend on downloading any media then the 20 gig is fine but as for myself i really find the 360 to be a complete entertainment in 1. i have had to delete so many media files just because i saw my hd free space around several hundred mbs that it makes me mad. but once you have bought those file and downloaded once you can always re-download them without repaying for them. if money is not a huge issue though i would definately go with the elite.

Random question. Is a 8ms respose time bad for causing ghosting? Most tv's im looking at have 8ms. Does a vga cable help at all in reducing ghosting over the component cables in the pro system bundlefor 360?

My 32" LCD has an 8ms response time and I don't see any ghosting. In fact I can't tell the difference between my TV and my 22" computer LCD which has a 2ms response time.

It's only when you get above 8ms and see some monitors with 14ms and 25ms response times that you will get some serious ghosting.

Not if you want to download a whole bunch of stuff, but if you use it just to play games you'll be fine. I own a 120GB one because I've purchased a lot of XBLA Games, DLC, and Videos.

You definitely want to go with the bigger hard drive. You don't even get the twenty gigs they say you will. There's only thirteen available because the drive reserves seven gigs for system use. The thirteen left will fill up much faster then you think when you add in map packs, demos, and full games. Trust me, I've only got about two gigs left on my twenty gig drive.

Trust me when I say this; 20 GB just isn't enough to enjoy your Xbox to it's fullest potential. I'd say go for the 60 GB or 120 GB HDD. I had the 20 GB one since launch and I switched to the 120 GB just recently and I love it. Almost 90 GB left and I have all the things I need on it.

20 works fine for me

I have Maps for a hanful of games, xbox live, about 10 south park episodes, a ton of saves, and a installed game. I still have a couple of gigs left.

You can get 20 gigs for pretty cheap off of ebay. Just get an elite and you'll be fine. I think the future of media will all be downloaded, and you'll be set with 120 gigs and I won't be set.
