256 Mb memory card question

For xbox live silver/gold, does a 256 mb memory card suffice? Or do I have to have a 20 gb hard drive specifically?

Cuz, in the manual it says I need memory, and that the memory card would do.

yes its enough. but trust me you within a week i garauntee, ABSOLUTLEY GARAUNTEE youll regret not having a 20gb HDD. (assuming your asking because you want to cheap out and buy an arcade.)Mikee3

see i didnt want to say something like that cause i have two hdd because i filled the 20 gb that came witht he system and i use a memory card just for my account

sry, its just hard for me to understand why someone would want an overpriced memory unit with barely enough storage for anything, when they already have an HDD.Mikee3

yeah i can understand that, the only reason i payed for a memory card is so i dont have to constantly recover my account
