$299 price to clear Falcon stock to pave the way for a $349 60GB Jasper model?

if ms is dropping the price to clear stock (makes sense if you want to get rid of stock) only to bring in another new sku at the old price its a bad idea. its gonna back fire imo. ms needs to trully drop the price.

ms needs to get rid of the core. put the pro with a 60 gig down to 300 or take a risk at put it at 250 and put the elite at 350. ya its a risk but its one that will pay for itself.

I don't know, but so far they havent linked prices to the quality of the chipset, and it's a low thing to do even if one has a larger HDD. I think jasper models will also come with a 20gb for the same price as the falcon, so they just lowered the price of the premium console.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I honestly don't think the $50 price drop is going to boost 360 sales, atleast not significantly.
