I'm definately planning on picking up a new baseball game this year and I have a question. First off, the last baseball game I owned was MVP Baseball 05, and loved it, however since that game hasn't and won't be made for who knows how long, I am trying to figure out which one I should probably get. Anyone who can give me some help, I would appreciate it.
Last year I went with 2K7 and although it looked amazing, the gameplay just wasn't there. Too many HR's and the sliders had to be adjusted way too much for realistic play. I was a huge fan of The Show on the PS2 for 06 but didn't like the small graphic upgrade in 07 for the PS3. Plus, there were reports of bugs and the game was delayed a few months.
This year, 2K looks like more of the same while The Show seems to have beefed up the graphics and looks to be on schedule to be out on time. I'm going with The Show this year.
If I had a PS3 I'd go with the show, but I only have a 360 so I will probably end up at least renting 2k8 to see if they have improved it enough to make me buy it.
Wow didn't know The Show had such a big fan base. Well I just got a PS3 and rented The Show 07. And loved it compaired to 2k7...So this year i'm going with The Show also
2k is for Basketball and maybe boxing later this year. And EA (sense we don't have a choice) is for Football (both sports if you ask me)
