i have a xbox live free 1 month and recently recived my 20gb hard drive with 3 month xbl can i add the 3 months on now and will it be an extra 3 months from the date my 1 month rubs out or will it last 3 months from the date i add it?

As far as I'm aware, as long as it isn't a trial code, it will add those 3 months onto your current 1 month.

It does add it on. You can check it in the account management tab once you entered it in to see for yourself.
