ive just got the 3 red lights and im incredibly angry. i dont know what to do coz i have no guaratee on it anymore. and i dont have the money for a new one. please help those who have had this problem. thank you
i just wondered im about to send it off coz it broke again but do i need to send my controller as well coz i need to know whether theyll fix it or send me a brand new one. thanks
All right listen!....I hadn't registered mine either.....this is what happened....I got the RRoD and so I called 1800myxbox and they put me on the phone with a techinical support dude....I told him what happened he said give me your console's serial number, your home address, etc....I did and he registered my console for me.....then about a week later they sent me a box to ship it in....inside the box are packing instructions (take out the Hard Drive, and just pack the system no cables or controllers JUST the system).....I packed it up and shipped it away.....in two weeks they sent me a new one! BAM! there ya go......
I almost crapped myself today. I went to play GH3, and when the console was ejecting to let me put the disc in, it got stuck and the 3 rings came on. I was so worried, but I went and unplugged the console, pushed the tray back in, rebooted, and right now I'm working on DragonForce.
I think you'll be fine.. especially wiht the new 3 year warranty on specifically that problem.
i registered mine a couple of days ago and ive just sent it to ups to ship off today ill hopefully get it back within about 4 weeks. or do u get it quicker?
