30+ kill streak in COD4 possible without cheating / camping?

I've seen the stats of a few people online with rediculous kill streaks & it got me wondering how - or if - it's possible without cheating somehow or camping. I mean, how can you really be out there moving around and even come close to 40, 50 or more kills in a row without dying? I don't care how much of a badass you are, if you are not camping SOMEBODY will spawn right behind you or a random grenade or something will get you..... So am I crazy or what???

i got a 36-killstreak while running around with a silenced p90+uav-jammer on strike.

it's definetaly doable.

Not hard go to shipment and just hide in one of the containers and as long as you have your chopper up it wont be that hard.dejo256

My kill streak is 7, but that's because I'm a sniper (Yes, a pain in the ass) but the thing is, everytime I shoot some unlucky sod in the bum, I have to change places because of the "Kill cam" soooooo infuriating for snipers.EnigmaticBeauty

my bro has an amazing kill streak i forgot what it was though it was pretty good mine is lame its 20kills but i ran about rushing the other team.

I think it's possible. Really depends on who you're playing and some luck. I went 25-0 on free for all on Broadcast.

I was on the verge of death about 6 times. Ran out of ammo 3 or 4 times. Plus I got extremely lucky with the the airstrike and chopper.I probably got around 4 kills on the air-strike and about 8 from the chopper.

a kill streak of 30-50 is reasonalbe, the ones that get we scratching my head are the 100 plus kill streaks those are defintly swindledphil1472

Those 100+ streaks are done in a boosting match. I don't really know what the point of it is though...

Bog, Countdown, and Creek are really good maps for high kill streaks especially in domination if ur a "moving sniper"

I personally like to use my red tiger .50 cal ACOG w/ stopping power, deep impact, and claymores (for the little shop on bog to prevent the enemy from running thru, for the hanger entrances on countdown, and for the cave on creek)

If ur good @ quickly sniping someone and moving so that they dont find u from the kill cam then ur golden :D

23 kill streak with the P90. That weapon's so easy to kill people with. I've gotten a 23 kill streak many times but i'll never go higher because whenever i get close i start doubting myself which is just dumb. Also by doubting i mean what i do and overthink my next move.craigalan23

Word of advice...if ur playing on an"open" map like creek, bog, or countdown where there aren't that many buildings to run and hide in, get ur chopper and save it...try to get to a 15+ kill streak without the chopper and then call it in...as long as ur playing smart from that point and still getting kills urself along with the chopper i guarantee u'll get @LEAST a 25 kill streak :D

p.s. never doubt urself in times of war...it'll get ya head popped off :lol:

From my understanding, it's a technique used to cheese up your prestige. Something towards you get 2 teams in a match that want to boost. One guy on one team takes 100 kills in a row while everyone stands around. Then someone on the opposite team does the same thing. Then supposedly leave the match running for a length of time, and when it ends, there's some ridiculous match bonus that can level you in a day. Supposedly....

I think my highest is 20 (mabye more i don't remember) and that was playing hardcore team deathmatch (i only play the hardcore game types). Someone on my friendslist has 200 which i am quite sure is complete crap.

Also if your a sniper than playing hardcore TD isn't a bad idea because there is no kill cam.

You don't have to cheat to get a long kill streak...but camping well yea.

I wont lie, I had a 36 kill streak that was legit on Shipment. I camped after I hit 25, just because I didn't want to lose it.

30+ just running around out in the open would be mostly luck. CoD4 is so run and gun, and you die so fast, it's hard for skill alone to rack you 30+ kills.
