I'm getting a 360 soon, what are the must have accessories for the system?

You'll need to buy the plug and play kit or the quick charge kit. That is if you're using a wireless controller.

The play and charge kit is a must but I wouldn't advise an intercooler. I think that it voids the warranty and it really isn't necessary. I haven't used an intercooler for my elite system and it has been running without problems since I got it a year ago.

The intercooler just keeps the whole system cool, When I first brought my 360 (nearly 2 years ago i think) it got very hot without the intercooler and when the console gets hot it melts the GPU (motherboard) which causes the RRoD. I then brought an intercooler and could play my 360 like all day with out it burning up.

but it really depends how much u play ur 360 i guess. and if u are gunna buy an intercooler be sure to give it a dust out every month or so
