Don't feel bad my first xbox 360 I've owned since 2005 has frooze a dozen of times and got repair twice. Xbox 360's are truly poorly built gaming consoles I was using the Halo 3 Xbox 360 overseas while being deployed and I've gotten the same problems I've had with the one at home. But, the games look awesome in 1080p on HDMI OMG!

If the game freezes in the same spot every time it could be your disk, try other games.

If it happens only on that disc then its probably the disc..the best thing you can do is return it and get a refund as soon as possible instead of sending it in then waiting a couple of days to fix it,if its your xbox then thats the best thing you can do.

Try to put your power supply on the ox or some where higher than the floor. That's trick works for a lot of people.

I suggest installing the game in your hard drive and if it doesn't work that means it's the disk that's broken. But if it does work, it's probably your disk player that's broken.

I recently had that problem with Oblivion. I went to a certain area of the game, and it froze. Listen to the laser in the xbox- does it have a hard time reading the disc when u get to that same area? Does it play your other games flawlessly?

I checked out my disc, and it had a fine concentric ring scratch (circular) which basically makes the game garbage. DO NOT at any cost, move the xbox with the power on. Maybe thats what scratched your disc. Try renting the same game and continuing from that save point. If it works, then its your disc....

it wasn't a certain area of the game, and if it was the disc that froze i would have still been able to go the the dashboard. anyways i installed the game to the hardrive and it doesnt freeze anymore, thank god.
