game support is pretty lousy right now, i use it on my computer more then my 360, so i'd recommend getting in if you don't have one for your PC already.. .though having Dave Chappelle as my RB6 character has really made the purchase worth while for me..
Well, not sure if it quite worth the money. Benefits are you can use it as a webcam on your computer and there are a few games that support it. TotemBall is sort of like Microsoft's answer to EyeToy. Plus, TotemBall can be downloaded free from the Xbox Live Marketplace.Thorpe89

Totemball's OK... it just takes a certain lighting to be able to play it. Anyways... I, myself, use the camera to send pictures to my buddies (Normally just for a laugh), video chat, make "unqiue" gamer pictures, and hopefully, in the next few days - Display "teh l337 ub3r PWNage sk1ll5 7hat k1ll2" on Command and Conquer, via Live. Facial mapping is becoming more popular... I expect that to be showing up a bit more. Just buy it now... it's good to have, and is superb in quality.
no, i bought one because i thought it was a neat little package webcam, headset, uno, and one month of live or $50 i gotta admit uno is addictive and the headset is useful and i contently used my one month live, but.... its just a webcam, i only really use it on uno but even then i turn it off because im paranoid of people and flashers on cam and .... its just a camera, it just shows you on some arcade games and lets you make a gamer pic with you in it, personally id say spend your money on a gamercard pre paid or... xbox live arcade unplugged or a 1 year subscription. webcam = sh** and i dont have usb 2 so i cant use it in my computer which sucks because i need a new webcam for it.
I broke my headset and am soon going to need to renew my Live Subscription, so I'm going to run out and buy that Xbox Live Starter's Kit with the included Live Vision, Headset, Arcade game(s?), Microsoft Points and 12 months of Live. I think it's $70 maybe? It's quite a good deal when I need to replace my headset anyway... that, and I really want to map my face to Rainbow Six Vegas, even though I hate that game :P

That's why I think I'll wait. I think I would enjoy it, but I think I would end up getting bored with it eventually. I'll wait to see if I really want it. Not big into impulse shopping!

You can use it to video chat with people on Live. There are a few games that support Digimask, (R6V, and World Series of Poker) and it's pretty cool. In most games it adds to the social aspect of the game.
the 360 camera is alright if u have xbox live. I video chat with my boys and chicks, show off my new stuff when i get it. Uno is a popular game on the live service. but other than that if you don't have xbox live its not warranted much to use but it looks cool sittin' there with the glowing green ring. I wish it came in black so it can match with my new "elite system". Hold out if your pockets will be on broke back mountain if you purchase. It might hurt you in the rear later. lol......I'm too funny!!

That's how I purchased mine as well, seemed to be the best deal if you wanted to check out the camera. I don't think it would've been worth the stand alone price. With the one year subscription you got 2 XBLA games, headset, one year sub. and the vision camera, for like $10-15 more then just the one year subscription. To me the headset and XBLA games made the purchase worthwhile.
