360 controller stop working

Hi all,

My 360 controller has just stop working when i press the guide button nothing happens, i have just recently brought myself a second controller and charger kit thing. I was just wondering is my controller in warrenty? I have had my xbox since Dec/Nov last year. If its in warrenty do i need to phone who ever up? or do i go to the shop that sold me my console and take the controller in?

How often does this thing usually happen? is the controller surpose to last longer?

I was going to leave it for a while as it might be because i've left it on charge for a few hours

P.S I have tried the charger kit on the other controller works fine and have even put batteries in

Hi I got my xbox in nov 2005 im still using the controller i got with it and it still works fine its under the same warrnty as the xbox its self

One thing not to do its to yank out the batteries when you cant be bothered switching it off that kills it if you do it all the time.

If your controller is from Microsoft then it should be under warranty if its from madcatz then mabey not

How can i claim on my warrenty for the controller?

The shop you bought the xbox from Like Game or If it was online then contact the seller
