360 died! need some advice on warranty and what to do

So I'm playing my second copy of COD4 (the first one fried in 5 min, literally. Didn't even get to play it.) Now, 2 weeks later on my second disc, its done. And so is my 360. It turns on but is in no functioning manner. It didn't RROD so I dont think I am eligable for the 3 year warranty thingie. Please give some advice as to what I should do! I was thinking either A) Deal with it being screwed. or B) Sending it in with hopes of getting a new NON REFIRBISHED!!!! (please for the love of God) system. I'm really pissed it failed since I spent my summer saving, put more than half of my earnings in the bank, and kept 500 for my 360. I payed 400 but got 50 back because it just went down incase that matters. Around 8/10/07 was when it was purchased.

PS as i thought about it I thought I should add:

System stands vertically, on solid wood, previously horizantly, in its own outlet, not in a confidened space. Never knocked over, dropped, spun, kicked, karate chopped, or moved much in any manner. I played it maybe 2-3 a day tops. The most ever was probably 5 hour session.

This is exactly what i was hoping i wouldnt get. Sarcastic comments instead of real advice.

call the 1800 number... this should definitely warrant a free repair/ replacement. I'm pretty sure you just got a faulty Xbox... and you should definitely look into them reimbursing you for a copy of Call of Duty 4. That's such garbage man... the game is so awesome and xbox is really great. It's just a bad experience man.jpstill85

iam nut sure if its tyhe 360 it could be just the av cords or something because my systemwas messed up for no reason well just my cords

thing turned on but no pic or sound they replace the av cords and i got them in 4 days heheh but ya i send the 360 because if 2 cod's got messed up then it be your hardrive (not the memory thing)

maby it be a good thing get a new one with the new chip inside so ya

promiss its under the warrnty as long as the system is not working fine they fix it unless its a stupid reason like omg one my green lights on my 360 is not working maby the light bust like any light bulb

they 4sure wont fix it if you were useing a intercooloer

the systemn is under 3 years and the cords and (the one controlor) is under a 1 year

sony got proplems for makeing a stupid system with 8 differnt cores work all differnt thats the reason they got no games and most of the games you got sucks so ya saying heavenly sword going to be big and look where it is

You really think so? maybe...idk. I can't believe it was so poorly built. Im not saying it should 3 hours a day flawlessly, but my ps2 did...for 3 and a half years...never froze...snowblind was sick...i miss the ps2 days...im not buying a ps3. I can take my pick between bad system cores or bad exclusive games, suprisingly ill take the bad core system =/

When they deny me (probably will, but i know my mom is crazy when it comes to coupons, price changes, and all that junk so she'll probably fight, but idk) i will just use the box sent to me. But can i cancel that repair order or no?xDJxGodx
