I have finally saved up enough money to buy an Xbox 360 Elite! :D Im buying it in under an hour. A friend is letting me borrow Oblivion while I save up more cash for a game. Once i go to purchase my first game though, I am split three ways on my decision. I enjoy R6 Vegas and Gears of War a lot, but Splinter Cell DA is also cool (and cheaper). I'm thinking online play should be the deciding factor in my decision. So purely based on online play, which do you prefer? BTW, can someone post a picture of a cookie for me? I want to be congratulated on my new system. :)
I have Gears, and it's decent online but is fading fast. I hear Vegas is great, but I've played GRAW 2 online and that's very good. But really, they're all different styles of shooters, so download some demos. But if you can play co-op online with your friend, get Gears, cuz while the campaign is short, it's the best since Halo CE.
Considering we only got two instock at Gamestop and neither Wal-Mart or Hastings got any in... I believe I am the only one in town with an Xbox 360 Elite. The person who bought the other one lived out of town... so unless someone went out of town to buy it... then I am probably thee only one. Moses Lake, WA... btw.

Congrats on saving up for it! Most people just buy it now and put it on a credit card or have their parents buy them stuff. I would suggest you buying R6V or Forza 2 when it comes out in a few weeks. Seems like it will be very promising. Have fun with that Elite. miguelpaco - they are easy to find. at least near orlando, fl.. idk...
Are you kidding?? I can find an Elite in any store I walk into in my local area.. Best buy had 14 of them, Target 6, Walmart 4.. Easy to find in NY..
Not sure where you live, but where I live (Augusta Georgia) I cant find one anywhere. Its crazy.
Kingston NY here.. I've seen tons of them.. Circuit City's website has them right now if your looking. But I haven't had any problems seeing them..
Wow your pretty close to me. Im in Newburgh and work in Poughkipsie. Yeah They are relatively easy to find. I already own a 360 so I wont be getting one........yet. As for game I own all three of those. Single player, although short Gears was most fun. I dont care too much for its online other than co-op which I love. Splinter cell campaign is good, didnt much play online. RS6 Vegas campaign was great and out of the three easily my favorite multiplayer of the three.
