Has anyone ever experienced this, where you play a game so fun or immersive that you forget that its a game and think its real? For me, it was Kameo, after getting really into it trying to get an 'a' ranking. What's your experience?
UFC 2009 Undisputed. I only have the demo but it is so immersive and real it makes you think you are watching an actual fight. The commentary also makes you feel like your watching it on TV
If I wear my Turtle beach headset I get pretty much completely immersed into any FPS. Bioshock, left 4 dead and Fallout 3 stand out as three games that are especially immersive. I think the sound quality has a lot to do with it.
I'd say my first playthrough of Halo 3 and Mass Effect had that effect on me, with the lights turned off and playing until 4 AM on a Tuesday night.... Yeah.
I still forget. But for me, it has to be Fallout 3. I go to play for about an hour, but I was on it for eight. The only reason I stopped was becasue my Xbox 360 froze. And I didn't realize that for about ten minutes, according to my cousin.

As the only game I have played for 360 so far, Dead Space really makes me forget about everything else except saving my sorry butt from being sliced in half.

Bioshock, Fallout3, Oblivion, castle crashers, and for some odd reason... gears 2 co-op with another person in the same room, a quick level on co-op turned into beating the game on hardcore in 8 hours
