Whenever i put a game into my 360 it tells me it is unplayable because it is an HD DVD so it tells me to put it in the HD DVD player, and i do. Then, my 360 tells me that it isn't an HD DVD and that i should put it in the 360 causing an endless cycle, anyone know what is happening????

I pictured the disk drive opening and closing very quickly while the ring of light was lighting up randomly in different quadrants and simultaneously screaming for help.

ur 360 is on the way out...call MS and tell em to get a coffin ready. i just sent mines in for the same exact reason. u can force it by steady turning the system on n off until the games kicks in and loads up. but after a while it'll take longer and longer to start until it just won't work anymore. u might even get RROD a few times in the process, lol. i got them maybe 4 times but still got it to work eventually, but still, the writings on the wall.

If you have a HD-DVD player hooked up to your xbox then unplug it and try to play the game. But I really dont know. What i say may be not right, cuz do you even hook up a HD-DVD player to your xbox directly? idk.

are they actually retarted? like down-syndrome? That's great that M$ hires handicaped people to do tech-support! LOL

But seriously...... sounds like screwed up unit. If you put in a game and it thinks its an HDDVD, but it isnt. you have a problem with the drive itself i bet.
