so i just bought KOTOR for my 360 to play. I put it into the drive, then it loaded up to the xbox screen, then i let the system do an update through live that popped up.After it updated, it restarted and it loaded up to the bioware screen and froze. I then tried cleaning the disc but it still didnt work.

finally i just took it back to the store and got a replacement disc. I put the disc back in and it still freezes on the bioware logo.

Any ideas what is wrong? my gears of war copy works just fine. im new to the 360 so any help is appreciated. thanks

Try disconnecting your HDD before starting up your 360. Then insert KOTOR and boot it up. See what happens. Also try disconnecting from Live and then boot up KOTOR.

If it doesn't work you should call customer support.

I guess the 360 freezes on some of the original xbox games. Because I know my friend kept on freezing on the halo screen, and i heard reports of a couple of others too.

i've tried disconnecting the HDD but i guess the emulating software is on the HDD and it wont let me boot it up. ill give the xbox live disconnecting a try.

Ok, i called support and they didn't know what to make out of my problem. The only solution they gave me was to format my HDD. So I did format my HDD (didnt have much on there), re-updated and the game finally worked!

Thank you all for your concern and help! I can now enjoy this game!
